Questions creators ask first
Is this allowed on Instagram?
Yes. Chatlasso runs on the official Instagram messaging API through a registered Meta app, and it is reply-only: it only ever messages people who acted first by commenting, DMing, or tapping a button. There is no cold outreach surface anywhere in the product. Chatlasso is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta; Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
What do I need to connect?
An Instagram professional account (creator or business). You sign in through Instagram itself with OAuth; your password never touches Chatlasso, and you can disconnect any time from Integrations.
How does the monthly people allowance work?
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of unique people your flows can message: 500 on Free, 1,000 on Starter, 10,000 on Pro, and 50,000 on Agency, counted across all your flows and Instagram accounts. Messages are unlimited: once someone is in this month's allowance, every reply, follow ask, and link to them is included.
What happens when I use up my monthly people limit?
Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. When a NEW person would push you past the cap, flows pause for new people until the month resets; everyone already reached this month keeps getting replies, follow asks, and links. To keep going mid-month you can upgrade your plan, or on any paid plan add a one-time contact pack from Settings: +1,000 people for $10, +5,000 for $25, or +25,000 for $75. Packs apply to the current month and stack with your plan allowance.
Can I connect more than one Instagram account?
Yes, Pro and Agency workspaces can connect multiple Instagram accounts. One rule protects everyone: an Instagram account can only ever belong to one Chatlasso account. Trying to connect an account that is already connected elsewhere suspends the offending workspace automatically.
Will my audience feel spammed?
Every message is a reply, in your words: your first reply, your follow ask, your link message. People only hear from your flows because they commented, messaged, or tapped first.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes: connect your Instagram account, create a flow with your trigger words and link, and turn it live. The Free plan needs no card, ever; paid trials take a card but charge $0 for 7 days.
Can I cancel? Do you give refunds?
