The monthly contact allowance
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of unique people, with unlimited messages per person. Here's how it's counted.
What counts as a contact
A contact is a unique person your flows message in a calendar month (UTC). The first time a flow replies to someone this month, they count once; after that every further message to them is free: replies, follow asks, links, unlimited.
The allowance is per workspace, counted across ALL your flows and ALL your connected Instagram accounts together. Incoming comments and DMs never count against it, and the same person returning next month simply counts once again.
What happens at the cap
- The meter on the Dashboard and Flows pages shows unique people reached against your plan's allowance, live.
- At the cap, flows pause replying to NEW people until the month resets. Everyone already reached this month keeps getting full conversations; comments from new people are still received and recorded.
- On the first of the next month, new people flow through again automatically.
Allowances by plan: Free 500, Starter 1,000, Pro 10,000, Agency 50,000 unique people per month. At the cap, flows pause for new people until the month resets; everyone already reached keeps getting answered. Paid plans can top up mid-month with one-time contact packs (+1,000/$10, +5,000/$25, +25,000/$75) under Settings, Plan.
